2022 has been a year for rebuilding!
Everyone around the world felt a significant impact on their lives during the pandemic, and while we are not fully out of the woods, many of us are starting the recovery process.
For theaters we lost a great deal over the last 24 months- so much more than revenue. Before having to abruptly close down our productions on March 13, 2020, hundreds of local actors turned to Star of the Day for a safe space to create freely and live authentically, free from judgment. We are honored that so many of these community members call us family.
Having to temporarily close down meant many in our family lost that safe haven they had come to rely on. Although we worked feverishly to offer online programming, it could never replace the comfort or the joy of performing live.
We are thrilled to reopen our doors once again! But we can't do it without the support of the community where we live and who we serve. I hope I can count on your support as we build back a stronger theater community, and an even safer haven for all to enjoy the creative delights that make Star of the Day so unique.
